Velvet- Dating Nearby Casual

Velvet- Dating Nearby Casual is an app designed to facilitate online connections for a range of relationship styles, from casual dating and social hangouts to long-term commitments. It enables users to meet, flirt, chat, and develop relationships by connecting with other individuals seeking companionship. A key capability of the app is its feature that allows users to specify not only the desired location and time for a date but also the particular activity they wish to engage in, such as tango dancing, and then assists in finding a compatible partner based on these preferences. The platform serves a global user base, with an audience exceeding 10 million individuals.

Connecting with Local Singles

The app incorporates a geolocation search function, referred to as Singles around me, which helps users discover other individuals within their vicinity who are also looking to connect. This tool is designed to simplify the process of finding local partners for dating or social activities.

Tailored Dating Preferences

Users can easily choose potential partners by photo. The app also features a system for flirting and dating that is based on mutual affinity, meaning connections are established when there is a shared interest between users. A distinctive aspect of the app is its ability to let users specify the exact way they envision spending a date, allowing it to then find a partner who aligns with that specific activity or experience. For example, a user could specify a desire for a partner to go tango dancing with, and the app would aim to match them accordingly.

Diverse Relationship Styles and Privacy

The platform is described as a taboo-free zone that prioritizes user privacy, aiming to make individuals feel comfortable expressing their thoughts and desires. It supports various relationship styles, accommodating those seeking monogamous or polyamorous connections, as well as those interested in long-term commitments or casual encounters.

Community Guidelines

To maintain a safe environment, the app enforces specific rules for its users. It is intended for adults only and strictly prohibits content related to hate, violence, offensive material, nudity, or explicit sexual content.

Recent Updates

In version 1.0.78, the app updated its internal systems by migrating subscriptions and in-app products to new purchase options compatible with Google Play Billing. This change made prices available for all Google Play accounts.
